As the economy continues to fluxuate, many are taking this opportunity to improve their skills and become more marketable by furthering their education. In deciding on the right college, I would advise students to consider the resources available to help them achieve their goals. One of the many advantages of some private career colleges is a student’s access to Student Services.
Many colleges nationally, including Beckfield College, offer resources which are coordinated and provided through the Office of Student Services. Students are assisted with transportation, childcare or housing needs. Students are guided through any academic challenges, assisted in overcoming obstacles, or coordination of a variety of services. Counseling services are typically available, along with recognition of achievements and ongoing relationship management between students and academics. When there is a strong Student Services department, students know they have a place to go to find answers.
For both traditional and non-traditional students, enrolling in college can be both exciting and overwhelming at times. By providing these student services, we assure that the students understand that they are not alone and have someone to help them at all times.

Through Student Services, we are able to monitor attendance and make time for each individual student to ensure that no one is being left behind and all presented student concerns are addressed.
