I have calls occasionally
that people cannot access the Beckfield Portal from home.
The portal works fine but
most of the problem stems from Internet Explorer leaving files and
settings on your home PC.
To clean them up do the
following:
For IE version 6.x
Click on the TOOLS menu
item, Choose Internet Options. Once open, you will be on the GENERAL
page.

Click on DELETE FILES and
hit okay. You should also DELETE COOKIES and CLEAR HISTORY.
For Internet Explorer
Version 7, you do the following:

Choose TOOLS, the Choose
INTERNET OPTIONS and you will be at the GENERAL page.
Choose DELETE and then
delete files and cookies.
This should help you get
on. Otherwise I have attached FOXFIRE which is a browser that works
like Internet Explorer.
You can install it and it
works fine on the portal.
If you tried this option
and it still doesn't work, you can download Firefox at
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ This will give you
Firefox's newest version.
