A team of academicians, addiction specialists, and practitioners in the field developed this Certificate program which is designed for professionals who work with people with addictions and their families. This program is being coordinated by Dr. Larry Anthony, who previously served as the Director of Addiction Studies for more than a decade at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Stuart Bassman, an internationally recognized therapist who works in the addictions industry, will be working with Dr. Anthony.
Dr. Anthony’s prestigious work in the field of Addiction Studies will bring invaluable depth and discussion to our curriculum. Dr. Anthony is a thought leader in the field, contributing his vast experience and passion to this growing professional field. He serves on the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board, is a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor, participates on the Ohio Workforce Development Team, and is a member of the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counselors
