The Business Administration program at Beckfield College helps students work toward earning their Bachelor's degree through a high quality business curriculum in a student-centered learning environment. The Bachelor of Business Administration program is designed to develop students' quality of work, communication skills, self-discipline, personal motivation, ethical behavior, leadership, and teamwork abilities, as they prepare for their professional careers.
The Bachelor of Business Administration at Beckfield College has partnered with the Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM) to ensure that graduates have the fundamental management skills and knowledge of the three core knowledge domain areas: Management, Planning and Organizing, and Leading and Controlling.
In the last two quarters leading up to graduation, students are enrolled in two capstone courses, providing students with the opportunity for final preparation, testing, and earning the Certified Manager (CM) designation.
Certification is an important means of assuring management competencies. The Beckfield College Bachelor of Business Administration is designed to develop student skills in a variety of areas and provides the tools necessary to obtain certification – confirming that Beckfield College graduates have professional management training.
This program has been approved by the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education and the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools.
