The Legal Nurse Consulting certificate program is a professional curriculum designed to provide a foundation in legal education which can lead to eventual certification as a Legal Nurse Consultant. As such, it focuses upon preparing learners for relevant professional careers through courses in legal rules and procedure, research and analysis, tort law, and the role and responsibilities of the Legal Nurse Consultant within the nursing and legal professions. Graduates will be able to handle legal matters logically and communicate their findings and opinions effectively, both orally and in writing.
Admission to the program requires that the applicant be a Registered Nurse who has earned at least an associate degree in nursing
