Paralegals play a vital role in our complex legal system by supporting lawyers. Beckfield College paralegal programs are approved by the American Bar Association (ABA), the pinnacle of success in the legal industry.  As of May 2012, this highlights Beckfield College as the only post-secondary school in Northern Kentucky and one of only three institutions in Greater Cincinnati with ABA approved paralegal programs.

“The American Bar Association approval of Beckfield College’s paralegal program is very important to paralegal students and their employers in the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati area.  The ABA approval is an important distinction for a paralegal program to achieve and requires a rigorous examination of the program for high quality paralegal education, training and development of educational standards,” noted Dianne Kuhnell, President, Northern Kentucky Association of Paralegals.

“Choosing a paralegal program with ABA approval is an important consideration for a potential paralegal student who is interested in heightening their marketability to an employer and an important consideration for an employer when comparing paralegal education of job candidates prior to hiring at a company or firm.”

Beckfield College offers various educational offerings in the paralegal field, including an academic certificate, Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, as well as post-baccalaureate certificate. As these program areas evolve in the legal field, Beckfield responds to ensure that students are working with the latest in technology, teaching approaches and faculty expertise. Coursework in all programs is rigorous, but upon completion, students are completely prepared and trained to succeed.
