Medical Massage Therapy Program Achieves 91.67% First-Time MBLEx Pass Rate
Medical Massage Therapy program exceeds Kentucky and national first-time pass rates
FLORENCE, Ky., Sept. 1, 2026 — Beckfield College's Medical Massage Therapy program achieved a 91.67% first-time pass rate on the Massage & Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx), according to a School MBLEx Performance Report from the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB) covering July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026.
Of the 12 Beckfield College–Florence candidates taking the MBLEx for the first time during the reporting period, 11 passed the examination.
Beckfield's 91.67% first-time pass rate exceeded both the Kentucky rate of 80.77% and the national rate of 72.03% reported for the same period. The College's rate was 10.90 percentage points above Kentucky and 19.64 percentage points above the national first-time pass rate.

The latest result builds on Beckfield's 2025 first-time MBLEx pass rate of 77.7%, which was 7.7 percentage points above the reported national rate of 70.0%. From the 2025 result to the latest reporting period, Beckfield's first-time pass rate increased 13.97 percentage points, reaching 91.67%.
