Disclosures

*The United States Secretary of Education made his final decision on December 12, 2016 to deny ACICS as a federal recognized accreditor. Colleges and universities that are accredited by ACICS will be given 18 months following this decision to join a new accrediting agency. Beckfield College proactively began the process of moving to a new accreditor approximately six months prior to this announcement, and the College is already well on its way to gaining new accreditation.

While this is very concerning news, colleges like ours who are accredited by ACICS will remain recognized by the Department of Education and given the opportunity to obtain new accreditation by June 2018. Financial aid, grants, and any other services that have been afforded to any potential or active qualified student will remain available. In the event that Beckfield College does not obtain new accreditation by June 2018, Beckfield College would no longer be eligible to receive funds under Title IV of the Higher Education Act programs. Our commitment to our students and employees remains steadfast. We wish to assure each potential or active student, graduate and employee that our institution is otherwise unaffected by this decision.

Any student at Beckfield College who has a question, concern or complaint relating to Title IV eligibility or administration, the quality of education received at Beckfield, or otherwise relating to the accreditation standards of its former accrediting agency can submit that in writing to Beckfield College and/or to any of the following:
