Before you arrive, be sure to check out the employers that will be attending the event. Make a list of the ones that interest you and research each company and their open positions. Jot down questions for each employer specific to the positions they are looking to hire. Make a list of reasons why you would be a strong asset to their organization and the right candidate for the position.
Tip #2: Show Up Prepared
Be sure you have printed copies of your polished résumé in hand (and business cards, if applicable). If you are interested in a particular employer attending, have a copy of your résumé that is tailored to their company and the position you are seeking. Lastly, make sure you dress professionally.
